Administrators who want to learn to use the import API to create users and clients.

The import API creates users and clients in Ideagen Disclose using the same fields as the CSV import, but only for new records.

Understanding the import API

The import API creates users and clients in Ideagen Disclose. It matches the fields used by the CSV import, but it is create-only: existing users and clients are not updated.

The tenant is always identified from the JSON Web Token (JWT) access token, never from the request body.

Authenticating with the API

To Ideagen Supply Chain with the API:

1. Register with the auth/login endpoint to obtain a JWT.
2. Include the JWT in the header of all subsequent API calls.

Note: You must call the auth/login endpoint first before using the API more generally. This is analogous to logging in with your username and password.
