Users who want to learn to troubleshoot unresolved questions blocking tailoring.

This article explains how to resolve an issue where the tailoring or main section appears complete but cannot be marked as finished due to hidden unanswered questions.

1. Understanding the issue

You may encounter a situation where all questions in the tailoring or main section appear answered, with the section showing zero unanswered questions. However, when attempting to complete the section, a pop-up message states: "There are still some unanswered questions. Please click OK to refresh the page and answer these final questions."

This prevents you from completing the tailoring or main section and progressing to the main checklist.

2. Identifying hidden unanswered questions

To identify which question requires an answer:

1. Click the Menu icon in the top left.
2. Select Reporting.
3. Select Request report.
4. Select report type Checklist report.
5. Select the client and answer set period end date.
6. Click Generate Report.
7. Refresh the page until the status changes to Ready.
8. Click the drop-down on the right.
9. Select Download as CSV.
10. Open the file in Microsoft Excel.
11. Search for the word "unanswered" to locate the column containing the tailoring question that needs an answer.

3. Updating the answer set version

Updating the answer set to the latest version of the checklist sometimes resolves this issue.

To update the answer set:

1. Go to the answer set.
2. Click the drop-down and select Details.
3. Check the top right for an update icon (shown below).

4. Click the icon to update if available.

4. Escalating for further review

If the issue persists after trying the above steps and no unanswered questions can be identified, you need to export the answer set for further review.

To export the answer set:

1. Go to the answer set.
2. Click the drop-down and select Details.
3. Click the export icon at the top far right to export all answers to XML.
4. Send the XML file (in .zip format) to support for further review.
