Importing clients using a CSV file

User access is required.
Importing clients into Disclose using a CSV file simplifies adding multiple clients. This article outlines the steps for importing clients, including a CSV upload example.
This process imports new clients only. It cannot modify clients that already exist—for example, you cannot use it to update security groups or change a client’s user email.
1. Preparing the file
Requirements
Your CSV file must include:
- A header row.
- A row for each client.
The following values can be imported; some are optional as indicated:

| ClientName | Name of the client in the system. | Yes |
| UserEmail | Email of users with client access; creates a restricted client. | No |
| UserGroupName | Names of user groups with client access; creates a restricted client. | No |

2. Importing the file
To import the file:
- Navigate to the Manage Client screen.
- Click the Import icon.
- Choose the CSV file to import.
- Click Read File to start the import.
- Review the selected clients.
