Administrators managing access to clients.

Admin permissions are required.

When opening the Edit Client dialog, you will find that the user Creator and the group Everyone are displayed in the Security section, regardless of the users and groups actually assigned.

This article describes the behaviour in more detail, and suggests a workaround.

1. Issue

When the Edit dialog is opened, currently assigned users and groups are not displayed.

For example, where groups/users are assigned to a client, the Client Details screen will show them:

However, when opening the Edit Client dialog, the list is reset to Everyone and Creator:

2. Workaround

When editing the users/groups assigned to a client, be sure to select the entire set of users and groups that are to be assigned before saving.  

You can check that the edit has been successful by viewing the Client Details screen, avoiding the Edit screen.
