Checklists in Ideagen Disclose are used to ensure compliance, streamline workflows, and provide a systematic approach to disclosure, while also serving as a valuable tool for quality control and risk mitigation. They enhance transparency, promote standardisation, and help organisations maintain accurate and efficient disclosure processes.
1. Answering the checklist
After resuming or starting an answer set, you will be directed to the main checklist screen to begin answering questions. To respond to a question, use the drop-down menu at the bottom to choose the appropriate answer. Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts:
- For single or multiple-choice questions, typing a letter (e.g., Y for Yes, X for Not applicable) selects the first answer beginning with that letter.
- Typing a number (e.g., 3) selects the corresponding answer or item.
- Press Enter to move to the next question.
- In a text answer, use [Ctrl]+[Enter] or [Shift]+[Enter] to create a new line.
- For adding comments, use [Ctrl]+[Comma], and pressing Enter in the popup confirms the new comment. The same [Ctrl]+[Enter] or [Shift]+[Enter] shortcut works for line breaks in comments.
Note: Pressing Enter still takes you to the next question.
2. Navigating between questions
Using the buttons at the bottom of the question, you can move to the next, previous, next unanswered or previous unanswered question. Alternatively, pressing return will take you to the next unanswered question.
3. Navigating and searching the checklist
Within the checklist, the left hand menu allows you to select the relevant sections of the checklist to skip to those sections and allows you to search the section you highlight for question wording. To clear the search, you will need to select the X.
4. Updating to the latest version of a checklist
- To access the details of a client in Disclose, begin by selecting Answer Set from the main menu.
- Next, hover over the Client section, click on the dropdown arrow, and select Details.
- On these main details page, you can easily update to the latest version of the checklist by using the transfer icon located in the top right corner.
5. Checking your progress
- The icons on the top left of the screen track your progress through the checklist and show the number of unanswered questions, comments added, warnings (questions which have been answered No when a Yes is expected) and alerts (questions which have been answered N/A when a Yes is expected.
- If you click on an icon, it will take you to the first question of this type. For example, if you click on Unanswered, you will be taken to the first unanswered question and only the unanswered questions will show on the tree to the left.
6. Checklist information
At the bottom of each question, additional information is included as follows:
