Answer sets in Ideagen Disclose are groups of logically related hypotheses that the system generates to explain a situation or event. The answer set is split into two distinct sections. The first is the tailoring section which will ask entity specific questions, the second is the main checklist. The following article will explain how to create and assign an answer set.
1. Introduction to answer sets
- When you select Answer Sets in the menu screen, it will show the client's name, checklist used, reference, period end, the current user of the answer set, its status and when it was last accessed.
- You can filter answer sets by using the four drop-down menus in the left-hand corner of the Answer Sets screen:
- Additionally, you can use the search function to find answer sets. You will need to type in the part of the client name you are searching for and then select the search button magnify.
Note: If you have filtered the view, the search will be on that filtered view only. You will therefore need to reset the filters to Show All to search all the answer sets.
Here are a few things to note about answer sets:
- You can also reopen answer sets either by re-opening tailoring or re-opening the main checklist but bear in mind these will then need to go through the relevant review process again.
- If you hover over an answer set and select the down icon, you can view the details, view the answer set as Read Only, resume the answer set or delete it.
- You can also assign the answer set to a client.
- If the answer set review has not been started you can amend the reference, year-end date and change the groups allocated to any sign offs.
Important: If a review has been started, you will need to reopen the answer set and then it can be edited.
2. Creating an answer set
- To create an answer set, select the plus icon .
- A pop up box will appear where in the details section you must select the client from the drop down menu or select the plus icon to add a client.
- Select the checklist you wish to use and add a Client Reference (if required).
- Then, select the Period End.
Note: If the administrator has enabled per-section answering, then you will see a tick box to select per-section answering for this checklist. This will allow different users to access different sections of the main checklist at the same time.
- You can also select the tailoring sign-offs and main checklist sign-offs tabs to change the default.
- A prompt will appear asking for confirmation of a change to the default workflow. There is also the option to restore the default workflow.
3. Assigning an answer set to a client
- From the main answer set menu, if you hover over an answer set and then select the down icon.
- Assign the answer set to a client if a client user has been set up.
- A pop up box will appear asking you to Confirm.
- Once an answer set has been assigned, you then have the option to claim the answer set if you wish to take it back from the client.
Important: This will use up one of your licenses, but the license will return to you once the answer set is returned.
